Who We Are



DDM is a nonprofit, charitable corporation serving adults with developmental disabilities and their families. DDM owns/operates 18 group homes in the State of Georgia, serving approximately 70 residents.
DDM is supported by churches, endowments, memorials, foundations, and individual contributions. Services are provided to persons with developmental disabilities regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, sex or ability to pay for services.
DDM has 501(c)(3) non-profit status with the IRS, and is nationally accredited by CARF. All group homes are licensed by the DBHDD (Department of Behavioral Health and Development Disabilities) and DCH (Department of Community Health) and DDM is an approved provider of Medicaid Waiver services in Georgia. DDM staff and programs have received the Governors Council Award of Excellence; The Above and Beyond Award of the Georgia Council on Nonprofits, The Ann Sullivan Award, and The Best Practices award by Georgia DHR.
